“Cynthia is the most dynamic, impactful teacher that I have had the privilege of working with. Having worked together for many years I have seen her teach a multitude of young people to use their voices for self empowerment and for the betterment of all. Cynthia is especially skilled at working with under served young people struggling with chemical dependency issues and/or emotional health issues. She has my highest recommendation.”

organizations
Cynthia has taught and spoken to organizations and educational institutions all over the world. She specifically focuses on the unique needs of each group and designs educational workshops to breath life into existing structures. Each workshop and presentation is meant to revolutionize ideas and concepts focusing on the power of voice and speaking one’s truth.
“Cynthia Bond is one of the most impactful instructors I have ever had the pleasure to work with. Her approach to teaching allowed every student to develop and express their stories— Even those who believed themselves too broken to be heard.
I worked with Cynthia during the biannual African American Mental Health Professionals Conference. She co-led a session on the use of narrative techniques as therapeutic interventions when working with African Americans. The prompts and examples she provided in the short session have greatly improved my practice and ability to connect when working with this community.”

Family stories
Cynthia works with families to help harvest stories that have been hidden and now must be shared. She calls upon intergenerational groups to gather and write stories of strength and empowerment and she designs workshops that inspire participants to speak out and lend their truth to the family lexicon.
